Laser Love Affair

We are obsessed with laser cutting at the moment.  How gorgeous are these wooden invitations!?   They come from a stunning website featuring such inspiring and beautiful paper goods.  Click on the image to visit it.  We’re dying to try this technique out, hope we’ll have our own design to share with you too!

Fave Friday

We love trawling the web for fresh ideas and thought we’d start to share with you the fab sites we like to visit.  Recently we’ve found 2 new blogs that are packed full of inspiration if you’re planning a wedding, or if like us, you just like looking at pretty stuff!  They are both local sites too, which makes them even better.  Wedding Friends and South Bound Bride focus on connecting brides-to-be with the best suppliers in the industry, and their sites are full of beautiful images to get your creative juices flowing.  We’ll definitely be visiting them regularly, hope you enjoy exploring them too!

Wine Glass People

Earlier (make that much earlier) this year, we celebrated a milestone birthday of the matriarch of our family, our Gaga who turned 80!  She is so special to us, and her birthday tea was full of love, laughter and lots of pink!

We thought we’d share these “wine glass people” that we made as a place name for each person.  We were inspired by these tea bag Royals made as souvenirs for the Royal wedding.  They’re a fun and personal way to mark each person’s place. Really cute, don’t you think?

And here we are!

Moodboard Monday

We spent a chilly weekend with our folks in Hilton, and most of yesterday curled up next to the fire in front of the TV, first to watch the craziness of the Comrades Marathon, and then the spectacular Diamond Jubilee parade on the Thames in London.  We have always been royal fans, and love the pomp and ceremony of these events.  How special to be able to witness the celebration of the Queen and her 60 years on the throne!  So today, we’re spreading the Jubilee love, and hope that you enjoy this best of British inspiration board. We hope that the Queen and British-inspired decor are around for many years to come!

Fun Flags

It’s rainbow fever over here as Milla’s party gets closer.  We love these rainbow flags, super easy and cheap!  We’re planning to use them as cupcake toppers on white icing, so simple and fresh.  All you need are a couple of toothpicks and some colored paper, or print your own to match your celebration colors.  Then cut out and stick, ta dah!
