A few weeks back we posted Cowgirl Libby’s invitation, and now we can share the rest! We were so thrilled to create Cowgirl Libby’s 4th birthday party, thanks again to this lovely family for asking us to get involved. Here are a few pics of the party, which was by all accounts a rootin’ tooting good time!
Every cowgirl/boy got a hat and paisley scarf as they arrived. The entrance, bake shop, saloon and rodeo areas all had a fabric bunting sign and there was a sweetie bar full of yummy goodies and a milk saloon with a custom-made (by Libby’s dad) stand. Horse and sack races were lots of fun, and the birthday girl even found love with a particularly beautiful pony, which she named Kiki. As favors each guest took home a cookie mix in a jar (lovingly filled by our Mom – thanks Mom!) We made a photo booth where everyone could “say cheese” and make fun memories of a fabulous day.
All the paper goodies from this Cowgirl Party are now available to purchase as DIY printable downloads from our Etsy store – click here to view them. We can also customize this party to suit your little cowgirl/boy too!
We also wanted to let you know about CreateHope, a jewelry line owned by Libby’s mom Jayde. It employs women who are unable to find jobs due to AIDS, Cancer or other circumstances. The intention is not to be a charity but rather empower these women by teaching them the skills to make the jewelry. By uplifting these women CreateHope aims to end the cycle of poverty and give these women, and their children a hope of a better life. Find out more on their Facebook page, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
